Voice Connect was founded in 1991 at a time when voicemail just was starting
to take off in America but was still its infancy in the UK. Managing
Director Stefan Olsberg and Technical Director David Harrison recognised
the opportunity to revolutionise the British telecommunication market
with this exciting new product.
Voice Connect grew rapidly from just two men working in a converted garage, Stefan
handling the Sales and David developing the
'Voice Connector' which was to be their first
product. Their timing was ideal and the Voice
Connector became a huge success.
As voicemail and auto-attendant became ever
more commonplace across the country, Voice
Connect introduced the VCII to replace their
original offering. At the same time, a range
of modules were introduced to meet client
requests.
Over
the years Voice Connect has grown and expanded
offices several times, the last office expansion
taking place this summer (2008), increasing
the work force to just over 40 employees.
Voice Connect's clients now number well over
a thousand and continue to grow with the
introduction of more specialised products,
whilst continuing to maintain the excellent
relationships we have with our existing clients.
Our latest products aim to combat truancy with our product known as Informer
for Schools (put link to specific product pages) and Patient Partner
which tackles the issue of booking appointments 24/7 at Doctors surgeries.
We also develop bespoke packages for specific cases and are always
looking for ways we can assist in improving our Client’s communication
Channels.
Voice Connect Managed Solutions, the sister company
to Voice Connect, has enabled the team to expand its portfolio of
managed services to include Online Data Backup VC Dataguard,,
Conference Calls VC ConferenceCall, Bulk and Personalised text

Whilst the company has expanded greatly over the years
Voice Connect still has many of the original staff who have been
with the company from its first few years, and still has the ethos
of a small company - where the customer always has and always will
come first.
